My Best Practice includes a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) by default for all users. Every user automatically acknowledges and accepts the BAA when activating their MBP account, ensuring HIPAA compliance from the moment their subscription begins.
A link to the BAA is available in the footer of every MBP page for easy reference.
Requesting a Physical Copy
If your organization requires a physical copy of the BAA, please email support@mybestpractice.com to request one.
Where to Access Your BAA in MBP
Once Support provides the BAA, you can view and manage it directly within your account:
Go to Settings
Select Account Settings
Open the Subscription tab
Locate the BAA section
From here, you can review, sign, and download a copy for your records
How to view and sign the BAA:
Step 1: Select Open under Business Associate Agreement.
Step 2: Select View BAA and scroll to the bottom to Accept the terms.
Step 3: Now, you can enter your practice and professional details, check off the three acknowledgements, and select Save Agreement.
