Please reach out to support@mbpractice.com to add
e-scripts to your subscription
Our team will need the following information to set up your account:
Date of Birth
NPI #
DEA # (if prescribing controlled substances)
|
Once your subscription is in place, follow the steps below to enroll in IDP
Step 1: Navigate to the To-Do list.

Step 2: Select the Prescriptions tab and complete the DoseSpot ePrescribing Authorization Agreement & Identity Proofing Agreement.

Controlled Substance Providers ONLY
Once IDP is complete and you have received your letter from Experian or completed IDP with OTP (one-time password) you'll be ready to start TFA (Two factor authentication) set up:
Step 1: Find the '!' in the top left corner of the Prescriptions tab on the To-Do list next to the welcome message.
Step 2: Follow the steps until the system requests a cell phone number to receive the set-up texts.
- You will see this alert pop up as a reminder that you may still be waiting for the
Experian letter. Once you have the letter in hand you will be ready to start the TFA.
- If you received the OTP (one-time password) none of the above will apply to you. You can click to continue and will not need a letter. The reference number will
already be entered.
- The system is now going to ask for your mobile phone number so that it can send
you the links to download and setup Duo via text.
- Be sure to click the agreement checkbox on near the bottom of the page before
hitting “Send Me Duo Activation Texts”.
Step 3: The first link in the text will prompt you to download and install Duo from your cellphone's app store. (This step can be completed manually at any point during the set up by going to the app store.)
THE APP MUST BE INSTALL BEFORE THIS STEP !
Step 4: The second link in the text will automatically add a Duo mobile account to the app. The provider will need to open the link "with" Duo Mobile.
Once Duo is fully set up, the provider will enter their TFA code (Duo mobile passcode), their 4-digit PIN, and their reference number (from the Experian letter) in My Best Practice within the Prescriptions tab.
TFA and Duo Mobile set up is complete when the '!' disappears
