Insurance Auto-Posting Improvements
You can now enable “Auto-Update Patient Responsibility” within your Practice Settings to have the system automatically adjust the amount listed as the copay for the clients’ appointments based on the patient responsibility indicated on the ERA (deductibles, copays, co-insurances).
A new option is available for automatic write-offs — you can either continue to have the system write-off the entire remaining balance (minus the copay you’ve indicated and any insurance payment received) or you can allow the system to write-off the specified CO- adjustment amounts based on the ERA received.
Bulk Insurance Payments (for Offline Claims & Third Party Payers)
Within the “Offline Claims” tab in the Claims Center, you’ll now be able to quickly record and allocate payments received from outside MBP’s clearinghouse (e.g., paper checks, ERAs received in another system) for multiple clients at once.
Prevent Specific CPT Codes from Generating Insurance Claims
Within the CPT code settings, you can now indicate whether you want the system to prevent the creation of a claim encounter for any appointment with that code pulled through.
NEW — Practice Calendar
You can now allow specific staff the ability to view one another’s calendars without granting access to their entire caseloads (enabled within the individual professionals’ settings).
NEW — Professional Availability View
Based on the availability set up within the professionals’ Online Booking availability calendars, you’ll be able to view available/unavailable time slots directly from within the scheduling calendar by adjusting your calendar settings.
Note: You do not have to enable the online booking tool in order to utilize the availability view.
NEW — Admin Notes within Client Appointments
Quickly add and view administrative notes within your client appointments to provide more context or to include important reminders.

You’ll now be able to include specific text within the text/email reminders based on the facility/room assigned to the appointment — ensuring that telehealth clients receive your telehealth information and in person clients know at which office location they are scheduled.
Better Readability of Calendar Appointments
You can now adjust the text color for specific room/professional appointment blocks when utilizing the “Color By” views within the calendar settings.
Important Updates to the Online Booking Tool
Existing clients can now utilize the online booking tool to book with any professional assigned to them.
You will now receive more information regarding cancellations/reschedules in the notification emails.
You can also now indicate whether you want appointments that are cancelled in the portal to be deleted from the calendar or marked as MISSED.

Custom Note Template Improvements
Multi-select dropdown elements are now available for custom notes, treatment plans, case conceptualizations, and intake interviews.
Ability to easily re-order options within radio button, checkbox group, and dropdown elements.
You can now indicate whether a specific element should print onto the PDF of the exported session note if no data has been entered.
Manage & Create Practice-Wide Diagnosis Codes
