Editing & Resubmitting Claims - Denied, processing, etc.

Claims with a status of processing, completed or, denied are not editable and will read 'Insurance Claim Exists: Editing and deletion functionalities are currently disabled.'

To edit and resubmit a claim (processing or completed), the claim must first be manually moved to Denied.

Select Actions ➡️ Change Status Manually.

Next, a popup window will appear.
Date - date of the status change
Status - Denied
Amount - billed amount

To edit a denied claim, select Actions ➡️ Resubmit Claim.

Then, select Yes on the confirmation pop-up.

If you are in the Claim Center, the claim will move to the Pending Claims tab where you can select the date of service to edit appointment details.

Once you have made all of the necessary changes, you will select Actions ➡️ File Claim.

During this step, you will be prompted to choose a resubmission code (pop-up window).
