The Billed vs. Collected report helps practices understand how much revenue has been billed and collected within a selected date range. It provides a clear breakdown of financial activity, service volume, and client engagement across your practice.
To support deeper analysis, users can now filter this report by Facility, Clinician, and Team, allowing for more precise reporting across locations, staff groups, and individual providers.
What This Report Shows
When you run the Billed vs. Collected report, the system generates:
Total amount collected
Total amount billed
Total number of services
Total number of unique appointments
Total number of unique clients
A breakdown of appointments by CPT code
This report is commonly used for:
Available Filters
You can refine the report using the following filters:
Date Range
Select the time period you want to analyze.
Clinicians
Filter by one or multiple clinicians to review provider‑level billing and collection trends.
Facility
Under Advanced Filters, select the facility or facilities you want included in the report.
Team (NEW)
You can now filter the report by Team, allowing practices to:
Compare performance across departments or staff groups
Review billing and collection trends for specific teams
Support team‑based supervision, payroll, and productivity workflows
How to Run the Billed vs. Collected Report
STEP 1:
Click on the Reporting tab in the navigation bar, then select Billing vs. Collected on the right‑hand side.
STEP 2:
Choose your desired parameters:
Date Range
Clinicians
Timeframe breakdown (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, etc.)
Advanced Filters → Group counts, CPT Length designation, Facility, Tags, Types of Appointments
Team Filter → Select one or multiple teams

STEP 3:
Click Run Report.
The report will automatically update to show only the data associated with the selected clinician(s), facility/facilities, and team(s).
The system will then generate a billing vs. collected report that shows the following data:
Total amount collected
- Total amount billed
- Total number of services
- Total number of unique appointments
- Total number of unique clients
- A breakdown of the number of appointments scheduled with each CPT code
