Understanding MBP's Two-Way Sync with Google Calendar

SPECIFICS OF TWO-WAY SYNC

If you have not yet done so, please see the instructions for setting up your MBP calendar for two-way sync with Google calendar here: Syncing to Google Calendar
IMPORTANT - The two-way sync functionality exists only for the new MBP calendar created within Google. All other Google calendars listed under "My calendars" in Google will NOT sync to MBP.  Therefore, only changes made to appointments assigned to the MBP calendar in Google will appear in MBP.

CREATING NEW APPOINTMENTS WITHIN GOOGLE

Any appointment you create on your MBP calendar in Google will appear as a Non-Client Appointment within your MBP account. You can then convert this non-client appointment into a client session by clicking "Convert Session" on the appointment window within MBP.

MOVING APPOINTMENTS WITHIN GOOGLE

You can adjust an appointment date, start time, or duration from within Google by clicking and dragging the specific appointment. Please note: the sync between the two systems can sometimes take a few minutes for changes to take effect. If you are not seeing the changes, please refresh your MBP calendar.

RECURRING APPOINTMENTS

Recurring appointments must be created directly within your MBP account. Once you’ve created the recurring appointment series in MBP, you can adjust individual appointment times from within Google. Keep in mind that doing this will only move that individual appointment. The appointment will be broken off from your regular recurring series, and the rest of the series will remain unaffected. If you need to adjust the entire recurrence, you'll need to do so through your MBP account.
