Our new Advanced Invoicing feature allows users to create detailed invoices for their clients. It provides a clear breakdown by service, along with any payments allocated toward those services—making it easy to see what amount is owed and which service it relates to.
To enable, navigate to Settings ➡️ Account Settings ➡️ Practice Settings ➡️ Invoices. Then, choose Appointment from the List Invoice Details By dropdown.
Next, create your invoice as you normally would by selecting the Invoice widget to get started. Here, you’ll find the same familiar invoice builder options as our default version.
Once you download the invoice, you will notice a breakdown by date of service, showing the billed amount, client responsibility, and client payment.
When 'Make this a receipt including payments' is selected, client payments and/or refunds for that timeframe will appear below the balances.
Only client payments will appear here (insurance payments are not displayed)
