How to Add Payment Methods and Take Payments

How to Add and Manage Payment Methods in the Platform

This guide walks you through how to add payment methods, verify correct formatting, and process payments within the platform.

1. Adding a Payment Method

To add a card on file for a client:

  1. Open the client’s chart.

  2. Select the Payment Methods tab.

  3. Then choose + Add Payment Method and select New Credit Card Account.

  4. Ensure the card number is entered without any spaces.

  5. If any information is missing or incorrectly formatted, a red notification will appear to guide you.


2. Processing a Payment

Once a payment method is saved, you can take payment from anywhere in the platform:

  • Select the Take Payment button located in the top‑right corner of the screen.

  • Follow the prompts to complete the transaction.
